Visceral Intricacy Part I : Cappricios Study by Shane

      The capriccios seem like the city inside the hall. While group of physical model look like the city. The ceiling above the city told us that this view are from the INSIDE of something furniture and paintings also make this city look unreal and smaller than what it should. So I study the real volume of the room by create
the line on the edge and connect it together to understanding the room. Then I outline the elements can refer
to scale of the room.

             The stage seem to be the surreal stage that blur the inside and outside. By using star as the point that can construct to dome structure while it seem to be on the sky. Another point is the symmetrical of the paintings that create the focus point. Light source also make the character more superiors diagram work on outline these elements.

           The objective of this version is to remove content that can change the scale of the physical model .  By replaced background with the scene of outside and added more people inside to create activity and make  it become real city.

        The another one share the same concept of inside/outside by remove star that refer to the form of dome
the scene completely change to scene of the outside and also make it unbalance by move character out from symmetrical line. The paintings lose sense of inside and the character lose the sense of the focus point.

         How we know that we are be contained by some thing? 
                   It might our eyes that saw the vertical line stop the horizontal line or the edge of the room or the natural light that coming in our pupil or our body that feel the breeze. Paintings is visual perception then we can create feeling that blur inside and outside.

                 the example is the classic method that paint the ceiling into the sky. Visually it is the sky that
make the feeling of outside but if you look to the top left and right you can see distortion of the sky. This clue told us that you are inside something and it just painted sky. 

                If that not enough, Why don't we open  it ? if the city are inside any container that mean it can contact to outside by open it a bit.
               Or blur the boundaries with more area of opening.  
           
            We are always be contained by something. When you going out from the building, we feel like you walk to the outside but we may forgot that you still contained by the sky and stand on the earth. This atmosphere create the feeling that you touch the nature directly without and structure on your head. The horizontal line that you can see and seem like it never end is the clue of become outside.  


              By change the sky at the ground to become real stage and LED light, The scene change completely
to become inside. 

                   Activity are another fact that control the experience of the scene, What happen inside the paintings told the story that may change the experience with out change of the scene, just add more people 
in it. What they do may change the experience inside the cappriccios. 

          
          By change the lift the character up into the sky but keep it on the same symmetry line the focus point change the position but not lose the experience of the scene.

         The cloud create a depth the moon create the light that make focus point brighter than other area. By  move the character to the foreground and lift the moon up, the focus point change.
           The activity that generate by people inside the scene also change the experience inside. If there are a lot people on the scene that ignore the main character. The main focus point lose the ability to attract our eyes. 
             In the opposite way, if people seem interact with someone. He will become new focus point of the scene. In this case I create interaction to make the guy on the desk appear to the scene. 

Case Study

              The case study separate in to two case, first is the indirect physical sky simulator that make that generate the same light quality as the real sky and direct physical sky simulator that visually paint the cloud and sky to the ceiling and completely generate light to create another sky. By study to the method of light simulation we can create space that generate experience of outside by use of artificial light source and maybe 
artificial movement of the nature such as temperature and cool breeze of the winter.
